I’m excited to be a part of this documentary! ‘The Back Room’ was the first Austin, TX music venue that my band- ‘TUNGSTEN COIL’ played at back in 1996! Not only was it our debut venue, but it quickly became the club of choice for our headlining shows.
‘The Back Room’ was more than a music venue, it has more like a “anything goes” place to party. You never knew what was going to happen on any given night and that’s what I loved about it! It was the closest thing to having a rough & tumble “Detroit Style” club in Austin, Texas. Being from Detroit, I quickly adopted this club as my entertainment home, and it adopted me right back!
I can’t wait to see the finished film!
AMITYVILLE CULT
This film was the catalyst that pushed me to get back into music and the entertainment industry. This ultra-low budget film has plenty of faults, but it was fun to be a part of it.
I was asked to compose a song for the scrolling film credits and that song became- DARKNESS NEVER LIES! This song and accompanying music video are both hits with my fans. The music video (my directorial debut) won “Best Music Video” at the Austin After Dark Film Festival (Summer 2022)!

There’s also a remix version- DARKNESS NEVER LIES (Adoration Destroyed Remix) by Erik Gustafson of Adoration Destroyed. So I decided to do a remix of the original music video to go along with the reimagined version of the song. The end result is a audiovisual head trip!
